• Weekly play begins with a 9:30am shotgun start.  Opening and Closing days begin with a shotgun start at 2:00pm.

• Players must sign up by Sunday evening for the weekly Wednesday game through your Cliffs Event Calendar App. We aim to alternate play on the front 9 on odd-numbered dates and the back 9 on even-numbered dates to balance the rounds.

• We will begin play each week with a “Cart Sheet” to complete and turn in prior to the shotgun start. This is to ensure your lunch selection, attendance for Q & A, or golf only can be tallied. Lunch will be ready at 12:00 noon. All players must turn in the cart sheet.

• Each week, 1 player in the threesome/foursome will be asked to keep a scorecard, and another player will be asked to input your group scores into Golf Genius.  At the end of the round, please compare the scores for accuracy and write down pars and birdies on the scorecard. Please sign and turn in the card to the golf shop after your round. Please write any rule/question(s) you might have on the back of your scorecard that come up during play.  Kyle will clarify and answer these in our post-round Q & A discussion.

• During the weekly post-round golf discussions and lunch there will be time for a question-and-answer session. This is an excellent opportunity for everyone to learn together as one cohesive group. We will identify and share individual achievements, milestones, and recognize outstanding play.

• Once a month, we will have a Niner FUN Day.  Each FUN Day will have a different theme and format, and each group is paired by Golf Genius.  There will be a member charge of $5 for FUN Day participation. The winning teams will receive Credit Book winnings!
  
  

• Different golf formats may be introduced throughout the season. During post-round activities, the format for the following week will be introduced. Descriptions of all available formats can be found on the website. 

• Golf Genius will be used to check pairings and ensure players get paired with as many members as possible. Personal pairing requests are discouraged. Questions/comments about your pairings go to Kyle.

• In keeping with the vision of the Nifty Niners, the importance of knowing and following the rules of golf is expected.  If you have a question, ask the question.  The golf education tab on the website may help you with some of the most common rules to follow.
  
  

• There will be a weekly opportunity for 3 members to play with our golf professional, Kyle, to learn on-course tactics, shot selections, and more. This type of lesson will help you shoot lower scores and aid in improving your pace of play. There will be a $40.00 fee for these “Play with the Pro” lessons. For the lesson to occur; a minimum of 2 players must sign up.  To get the most out of your Play with the Pro experience, sign up with fellow Niners who have a similar handicap index and skill level.  A signup sheet for the on-course playing lesson will be posted in the ladies’ lounge.
